Powers/Abilities: This white bundle of crazy can change the size of her wings at will usually opting for midsized wings for comfort and maneuverability. Moon also carries the ability to shape shift into any form she chooses; giving her full control over her appearance. Yet in most cases Moon prefers to retain her blue eyes and amethyst horns, if she shifts into a humanoid shape she usually opts into keeping her long white fluffy tail. The one thing Moon cannot change is the crescent shaped birth mark on her left hip. The most she is able to change about her birth mark is the shade, either lightening or darkening its color depending on her preference for the day or hour.
A few other things to note, when moon uses a great amount of power the vile that she wears on a leather cord about her neck vanishes. And her otherwise bright white hide becomes stained with vibrant reds, purples and pale oranges. This happens in any form Moon shifts into. She is also very physically strong with a solid grasp on martial techniques be it hand to hand, tooth and claw or holding most weapons.
Shape-shifting/Mimicry: As stated above Moon has the power to shapeshift, the only thing she can not make go away in her shifted state is the crescent moon shaped birth mark on her left hip. She can only darken or fade its appearance however she is never fully able to hide the mark, only ever to an almost near match. If she ever wants to hide her birth mark Moon will have to get an item enchanted to do just that, in example an illusion to cover it up.
Voice Imitation: Just like the ability sounds, moon can imitate the voice of another creature as long as she has spent time with that individual. Be it speech pattern to animalistic sounds. Moon can copy it all however this depends immensely on how long she has spent with the creature in question. Animals are easier to copy, sentient beings are increasingly harder depending on the individual.
Barriers: Moon can create see through barrier's their color depends on who is in control. When Moon is up front they are tinged a light crystalline blue. When Dusk switches in they turn a midnight navy blue with red vein like streaks along with having the appearance of being slightly cracked, kind of what glass looks like when cracked.
These barrier can be manipulated in a few different ways depending on the circumstance she finds herself in. The ways they can be manipulated are as followed.
+ They can be fully manipulated in shape and size, the amount she can create depends on their size.
+ She is able walk through her own barriers at will or create holes in them for others to safely pass through.
+ Barriers can be placed a number of feet from her giving her the ability to block someone's exit or protecting an ally.
+ Able to create small spear shaped projectiles that she can then be launched towards an designated target.
+ Can reflect most damage the barrier has been dealt, the damage does not stack over time; thus meaning each attack dealt to the barrier is reflected in sequence. The reflected damage diverts back to the attacker with at most the same power if not half of what the barrier has received. Example: In a situation that moon has to shield herself or others from a barrage of arrows released from many different foes. Each foe will be dealt the respective damage from the arrow that they fired. If the arrows originate from one individual as a single attack then all damage will be dealt back to that one person. (if that makes sense)
+ Is able to manifest passively to give a boost to Moon's physical defense. This protection does not carry any of the damage reflective properties of the manifested barrier nor does it show any color except when switched from passive to active. Only then does her body get a tinge of color as a translucent layer of barrier forms just inches above her body; covering her from head to tail.
With this passive defense buff moon can shake off most but not all attack and for the most part feels no pain. Those who have come into physical blows with her have commented that her hide feels akin to punching a solid iron wall.
As great as the barrier's she creates are, there are some major flaws and weaknesses to this ability of hers.
She is unable to defend against non-physical attacks, IE Magic, elemental and Reiatsu. Anything that does not have a physical base can pass through her barriers and defenses as a hot knife through butter. A few examples, A fire ball can bypass all the above where as an arrow lit aflame will stick into rather than be repelled by the barrier. The fire will then slowly erode an opening in the barrier that can slowly close over time but will requiring more sustained energy until the breech is repaired.
Besides non-physical her barriers do have a physical weakness if you will, they can be overpowered and shattered if the force that hits is stronger than she is. When shattered this causes her extreme physical pain, and depending on the power behind the attack; physical and or internal injuries. Some of the damage does get soaked up by her barriers enough so that she is not instantly killed, but not much more than that. That being said, if a powerhouse akin to a god/goddess/demi-god(dess), ether or those with extraordinary strength descended and decided her existence unworthy there would be naught she could do.
Other Weaknesses: A huge flaw or weakness of Moon's is the amount of energy that she needs to sustain even her most every day functions, not taking into the account if she exerts herself or uses any of her powers and or abilities; Moon needs to eat almost constantly to sustain the energy her body needs to function. If unable to do so she will begin to fade quite rapidly. This takes a physical and sometimes mental toll on her. Each day she goes without food and water Moon will loose a noticeable amount of bodyfat and muscle eventually becoming emaciated to the point of looking gaunt, as if she were a zombie risen from the grave. Accompanying these changes that strip Moon of her physical health, her mental state deteriorates at a certain stage driving her to consume most anything she comes across. With an almost deranged fixation Moon will try to consume anything she can fit in her mouth and swallow. Regardless if it is rancid or fresh, friend or foe, it matters not in this state. And if it runs from her she will chase it as far as she is able. Thus to mitigate this Moon always tries carries enough food and water rations for at least a few days within the storage space linked to the Amethyst band around her horn.
Along with Moon's weaknesses to nonphysical attacks she is highly susceptible to mental attacks. As well as a low thresh hold for mental stress, in these moments of duress Dusk switches in to alleviate and save Moon from these instances of mental degradation. However Dusk is not big on holding her temper so most any slight can and will set her off. However both sisters have the same weaknesses, Dusk is just a slightly more adept at handling stress then Moon. However when I say mental attacks this means, She has a hard time seeing through illusions even the weak ones at best she'll only give a passing glance and still suspects nothing. Anything that has to do with direct mental manipulation is also something that Moon has a hard time with, differentiating between truth and lie. If you were able to penetrate her mental barriers and tamper with her memories she'd be hard pressed to do anything about it.
As stated in a few portions above one of the last major weaknesses she as is the vial around her neck. The vial itself may be Indestructible but the cord on which it hangs can be easily cut if she's not careful. If an instance happens where the vial is separated from around her neck or is not in physical contact with her Moon becomes very weak. The further the vial the weaker Moon becomes, so much so that a single battle could be won if you are able to strip her of this vial. If without it for to long she will wither down to just bones and skin, degrading to such a state where one could say 'knocking on deaths door' and it would not be too far off. Moon will enter a comatose state as if suspended in time, neither alive or dead. At this point the smoke like fluid inside the vile will slowly start to grow dull and dissipate. If not returned to Moon the substance inside will fade into nothing, causing the vial to shatter. At which point moon will die leaving only an empty husk behind. If returned before the vial shatters Moon will slowly recover enough to walk at which point she'll enter a hunger crazed state and try to consume anything she can to regain enough physical vitality to where she is not starved. There after her recovery will be slow and she will have to consume twice as much to nourish her body till she is whole. Depending on how drained her power is how long her recover time will take.
